Rates
The rate for a translation depends on many factors, such as complexity of the text, subject matter, text type (general or highly technical), file format, quality of the source text (is it well or poorly written), legibility (in the case of hardcopy).
The cost of translation of documentation (.doc, .rtf, .html), software, web sites is based on source word except in Germany, Belgium and Luxemburg, where it is based on target line (55 key strokes incl. spaces)
Translation of more time-consuming formats for example PowerPoint, Excel, PDF files: 10 - 30% surcharge (based on additional work required)
Weekend/rush jobs: 50% surcharge
Terminology work, editing and proofreading: hourly rates

Order and Payment
If you would like to place an order, please send us an e-mail. Attach all material to be translated and all relevant instructions, reference material etc. We will then send you an estimate and a translation agreement which we ask you to fill out, sign and email or fax back to us.
Payment options:
Cheque: In the US payments are typically made by cheque.
Bank transfer: European customers can transfer their payments in euros to our German bank account with Postbank.
